Take note
Please note that this cocktail may induce merriment and a serious desire to dance. Drink responsibly and remember to have fun!
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of fresh cranberries, 1/2 cup of orange juice, and 1/4 cup of sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 10 minutes until the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 ounces of cranberry sauce, 2 ounces of vodka, 1 ounce of orange liqueur, and the juice of 1/2 a lime. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to mix everything together and chill the cocktail.
Strain the cocktail into a glass filled with fresh ice or, for extra flair, strain it into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and a few cranberries for a festive touch. Cheers!
