Get your creativity soaring by crafting Rocket Ship designs in your Retro Rocket Ice Pops. Make your frozen treats even more out of this world!
Take note
Be careful when handling sharp objects and hot liquids. Keep children and pets away from the cooking area.
To start your Rocket Ship design, you'll need to freeze the popsicle sticks. Place them in a tray or container and pour water over them. Freeze for at least 2 hours or until solid.
Once the popsicle sticks are frozen, it's time to melt the chocolate for the rocket body. Break up the chocolate into small pieces and place them in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is smooth and completely melted.
Carefully dip each frozen popsicle stick into the melted chocolate, making sure to cover about two-thirds of the stick. Stand the chocolate-coated sticks upright in a cup or glass, allowing the excess chocolate to drip off. Place them in the freezer to set.
While the chocolate is setting, it's time to create the rocket fins. Cut triangle shapes out of colored paper or cardstock. Glue or tape the fins onto the bottom part of the popsicle sticks, creating the tail of the rocket ship.
Get creative and add details to your rocket ship using colorful icing or edible markers. Draw windows, flames, and any other decorations you can think of to make your rocket ship design truly unique.
Once the chocolate has fully set and the icing or markers have dried, your Retro Rocket Ice Pops are ready for blast off! Serve them to your friends and family and watch as their faces light up with delight.
