Take note
Caution: Do not attempt to swim in the gelatin ocean. It may be wiggly, but it won't support your weight!
In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the blue gelatin powder in boiling water according to the package instructions. Stir until fully dissolved.
Pour half of the prepared blue gelatin into a fishbowl or a clear glass bowl. Place the bowl on an angle by propping one side with a folded towel. Allow the gelatin to set in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Once the first layer of gelatin has set, gently place the gummy fish on top, arranging them in a school-like formation. You can use different sizes and colors of gummy fish to create a vibrant underwater scene.
Carefully pour the remaining blue gelatin over the gummy fish, covering them completely. Place the fishbowl back in the refrigerator and allow it to set for another 1-2 hours, or until the gelatin is firm.
Once the gelatin is fully set, garnish the surface with edible seaweed. You can use dried edible seaweed or create your own using green fruit roll-ups or green fondant. Arrange the seaweed on top of the gelatin to resemble underwater plants.
The ocean-themed Fishbowl Gelatin is now ready to be enjoyed! Serve it at your party and watch the delighted expressions as your guests dive into this sweet and refreshing underwater treat.
