Join Tony Stark in the kitchen and learn how to make edible Iron Man ingots! These superhero treats will make any Marvel fan jump with joy.
Take note
Remember, while these ingots may look like Tony Stark's creations, they are made for eating, not fighting crime. Also, be careful when handling hot ingredients or using sharp tools.
Before we start, let's make sure we have everything we need. You'll need 1 cup of red candy melts, 1/2 cup of yellow candy melts, 1/4 cup of black candy melts, and some edible gold dust for that extra superhero flare.
Now, it's time to melt our candy melts! Pop the red, yellow, and black candy melts into separate microwave-safe bowls. Follow the instructions on the package to melt each color, usually in 30-second increments, stirring in between until smooth and melted.
Once your candy melts are melted, it's time to assemble Iron Man! Start by spooning a small amount of red candy melt into each cavity of an ingot-shaped silicone mold. Use the back of the spoon to spread it evenly. Then, add a layer of yellow candy melt on top, followed by a small dollop of black candy melt for the faceplate. Use a toothpick or small knife to create the details of the faceplate.
To really make our Iron Man ingots shine, it's time to bring out the gold! Using a small brush, dust the edible gold dust onto the surface of each ingot. Be sure to give Iron Man that signature golden glow!
Once you've decorated your ingots, pop them in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to set. When they're nice and firm, carefully remove them from the mold and get ready to enjoy your superhero delicacies! Share them with fellow Marvel fans or indulge in your own Iron Man obsession.
