Who says pizza can't be sweet? Our dessert egg-topped pizza recipe is a delightful combination of sweet dough, chocolate, and a gooey egg on top.

In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon of instant yeast, and a pinch of salt. Slowly add 3/4 cup of warm water and 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Mix until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
While the dough is rising, preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This will ensure that it's nice and hot when it's time to bake your dessert pizza.
After the dough has doubled in size, punch it down to release any air bubbles. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a circle, about 12 inches in diameter. Transfer the dough to a greased baking sheet or pizza stone.
In a small saucepan, melt 1 cup of chocolate chips over low heat. Stir constantly until smooth and creamy. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
Using a spatula, spread the melted chocolate evenly over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
Carefully crack an egg in the center of the chocolate-covered dough. Be sure to keep the egg yolk intact. Don't worry if some of the egg white spills onto the chocolate; it will add a delicious touch.
Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the egg is cooked to your liking. Keep an eye on it, as baking time may vary depending on your oven.
Remove the dessert pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Cut into slices and serve warm. The combination of the sweet dough, rich chocolate, and gooey egg is absolutely divine!
