Impress your guests with a stunning 'Cronut Tower'! Learn how to build a beautiful and bite-sized dessert centerpiece that everyone will adore.
Take note
Be prepared for some serious drooling! Also, make sure to handle the delicate Cronuts with care to avoid squishing them.
To make a mini Cronut tower, you will need: 24 Cronuts (store-bought or homemade), 1 cup of powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon of milk, assorted toppings such as chocolate shavings, colored sprinkles, or chopped nuts.
In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth. You can add more milk if the glaze is too thick or more powdered sugar if it's too thin. Get creative and add a few drops of food coloring for a colorful glaze!
Dip each Cronut into the glaze, making sure to coat all sides. Gently tap off any excess glaze and place the glazed Cronuts onto a wire rack. Sprinkle your desired toppings onto the glazed Cronuts before the glaze sets. Let the glaze harden completely.
Once the glazed Cronuts have hardened, it's time to build your tower! Start by placing one Cronut on a serving plate or cake stand. Spread a thin layer of glaze on the bottom of another Cronut and press it gently on top of the first one. Repeat this process until you have a tower of mini Cronuts.
To add some extra pizzazz to your mini Cronut tower, you can drizzle some melted chocolate or caramel over the top. Sprinkle a few more of your chosen toppings for an Instagram-worthy finish!
