1

Prepare the sushi rice

Wash 2 cups of sushi rice until the water runs clear. Cook the rice with 2 and a half cups of water in a rice cooker. Once cooked, transfer the rice to a large bowl and let it cool for about 10 minutes.

2

Mix the sushi vinegar

In a small saucepan, combine 1/3 cup of rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Heat the mixture over low heat until the sugar dissolves. Pour the vinegar mixture over the cooked sushi rice and gently mix with a wooden spoon until the rice is evenly coated.

3

Prepare the mini sushi cake

Line a round mini cake mold with plastic wrap for easy removal. Start by placing a layer of sushi rice at the bottom of the mold, pressing it down firmly. Add a layer of your favorite sushi filling, such as avocado, cucumber, or cooked shrimp. Continue layering rice and fillings until the mold is full. Press down gently to ensure the cake holds its shape.

4

Reveal and decorate

Carefully remove the mini sushi cake from the mold by lifting the edges of the plastic wrap. Place the cake on a serving plate. Now comes the fun part - decorating! Arrange slices of fresh salmon, tuna, and any other sushi toppings you desire. Don't forget to add some edible flowers or decorative sushi picks for extra cuteness!

5

Slice and devour!

Using a sharp knife, slice the mini sushi cake into individual servings. Serve alongside soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger. Watch them disappear in no time! Enjoy the bite-sized sushi goodness!
