Spice up your mule with a dose of vibrant marigold. Our marigold mule recipe will add a pop of color and a floral kick to your favorite cocktail!
Take note
Please be aware that while marigold adds a unique flavor to this cocktail, not all marigolds are safe for consumption. Make sure to only use edible marigold varieties that are specifically grown for culinary purposes.
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and a handful of fresh marigold petals. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the syrup with the marigold's floral essence. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 ounces of vodka, 1 ounce of freshly squeezed lime juice, and 1 ounce of the marigold simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds to chill the ingredients and blend the flavors together.
Strain the mixture into a copper mug filled with ice. Top it off with approximately 4 ounces of ginger beer and give it a quick stir. Garnish your Marigold Mule with a sprig of fresh marigold petals and a lime wheel. Enjoy the vibrant beauty in every sip!
