Get adventurous with our Bug Infested Jelly recipe. Sticky, slimy, and oh-so-delicious, with a creepy-crawly twist!
Take note
Beware of the realistic looking gummy bugs! Make sure to inform your guests that they are edible, otherwise, the surprise might be too much for the faint-hearted.
Prepare the jelly according to the package instructions. Dissolve the jelly powder in boiling water and stir until it's fully dissolved.
Once the jelly is fully dissolved, it's time to add the creepy-crawlies. Drop the gummy bugs into the jelly mixture and give it a gentle stir. Make sure the bugs are evenly distributed throughout the jelly.
Pour the bug-infested jelly into individual serving cups or a large mold, depending on your preference. Place them in the refrigerator and allow the jelly to chill and set for a few hours or overnight.
Once the jelly is fully set, remove it from the refrigerator and prepare for the bug invasion. Dig in with a spoon and let those gummy bugs surprise your taste buds!
