Take your macarons to the next level with our mouthwatering filling recipes. From ganache to buttercream, we've got all the flavors covered!
Take note
Be careful not to overfill your macarons, as it can make them difficult to assemble. And remember to let your macarons cool completely before filling them to avoid any melty messes.
Start by finely chopping 200 grams of your favorite chocolate. Place it in a heatproof bowl. In a small saucepan, heat 200ml of heavy cream until it starts to gently simmer. Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and let it sit for a minute. Then, stir until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth and shiny. Let the ganache cool to room temperature before using it as a filling for your macarons.
In a mixing bowl, beat 250 grams of unsalted butter until it becomes pale and fluffy. Gradually add 300 grams of powdered sugar until it's fully incorporated. Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract for a touch of flavor. For fruity variations, you can also mix in some fruit puree or extract. Beat the mixture for a few more minutes until it becomes light and creamy. Transfer the buttercream to a piping bag and you're ready to fill those macarons with buttery goodness!
