Take a culinary adventure with our homemade Dim Sum dumplings recipe! Learn to fold, steam, and enjoy these bite-sized delights at home.
Take note
Be careful not to burn yourself when steaming the dumplings. And don't forget to exercise extreme self-control when it comes to devouring them all in one sitting!
Mix together ground pork, shrimp, minced ginger, chopped scallions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Stir until well combined.
Place a dumpling wrapper on a clean surface and spoon a small amount of filling onto the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold it in half and press the edges firmly to seal. Repeat until all the filling and wrappers are used.
Line a bamboo steamer with cabbage leaves or parchment paper to prevent sticking. Place the dumplings in a single layer, making sure they don't touch each other. Steam over boiling water for about 10-12 minutes, or until the dumplings are cooked through.
Transfer the steamed dumplings to a plate and serve them with a dipping sauce of your choice, such as soy sauce or chili oil. Garnish with chopped scallions for extra flavor and a pop of color. Dig in and savor the deliciousness!
