In a mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and a pinch of salt. In a separate bowl, beat 2 large eggs until slightly frothy. Then, add 1 and 3/4 cups of milk and 1/2 cup of melted butter to the eggs, and mix well. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until the batter is smooth and fully combined.

Once the waffle iron is hot and ready, generously spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
