Take note
Be cautious when working with chilled ingredients and hot utensils. The cake may induce cravings that are hard to resist!
In a ziplock bag, crush 2 cups of Golden Grahams cereal until you have fine crumbs. Mix the crumbs with 4 tablespoons of melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
Take out your favorite ice cream flavor and let it soften for a few minutes. Scoop 2 cups of the softened ice cream onto the Golden Grahams crust. Smooth it out evenly using a spatula.
Sprinkle a layer of crushed Golden Grahams cereal (about 1/2 cup) over the ice cream. Press gently to ensure it sticks to the ice cream layer.
Scoop another 2 cups of softened ice cream on top of the Golden Grahams layer. Smooth it out evenly again.
Sprinkle another layer of crushed Golden Grahams cereal (about 1/2 cup) over the ice cream. Press gently. Cover the cake with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Remove the cake from the freezer. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes. Unlock the springform pan and carefully remove the sides. Slice and serve your marvelous Golden Grahams Ice Cream Cake to your adoring guests!
