1

Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients you'll need for this ultimate quesadilla adventure. Grab 2 flour tortillas, 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend), 1/2 cup of cooked chicken or beef (shredded or diced), 1/4 cup of diced bell peppers, 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh cilantro, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

2

Assemble the Quesadilla

Place one flour tortilla on a flat surface and sprinkle half of the shredded cheese evenly on top. Next, evenly distribute the cooked chicken or beef, diced bell peppers, and chopped fresh cilantro over the cheese. Finally, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Place the second tortilla on top to create a delicious quesadilla sandwich.

3

Cook the Quesadilla

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and drizzle olive oil evenly on it. Carefully transfer the assembled quesadilla onto the hot skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and crispy. Flip the quesadilla using a spatula and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the other side is also golden brown and the cheese is melted.

4

Slice and Serve

Remove the quesadilla from the skillet and let it cool for a minute or two. Use a sharp knife or a pizza cutter to slice the quesadilla into wedges. Serve them up on a platter and watch your guests dive in!
