Discover the magic of our Crystal Ball Gelatin Dessert recipe! A translucent treat that will dazzle your taste buds and ignite your imagination.
Take note
Be careful when handling hot liquid and sharp tools!
In a saucepan, heat 2 cups of water until it's hot but not boiling. Add the gelatin powder to the water and stir until fully dissolved.
Choose a transparent glass or plastic bowl that will serve as your Crystal Ball mold. Make sure it's clean and free from any residue. Spray the inside of the mold with cooking spray to help with the removal of the gelatin later.
Prepare a small bowl of colored sugar crystals or edible glitter. Sprinkle a layer of the magical crystals into the bottom of the mold. This will create a mesmerizing effect when the gelatin is set.
Pour the dissolved gelatin mixture slowly into the prepared mold. You can add additional colorful sugar crystals or edible flowers for an extra touch of magic. Allow the gelatin to cool slightly, then place it in the refrigerator to set for a few hours or overnight.
Once the gelatin is fully set, carefully remove the mold from the refrigerator. To release the Crystal Ball, gently run a knife around the edge of the mold to loosen the gelatin. Place a serving plate upside down over the mold, then flip it over, allowing the gelatin to slide out onto the plate.
Gather your friends and family around to witness the enchantment! Slice the Crystal Ball gelatin dessert into beautiful, translucent orbs, and serve with a sprinkle of additional sugar crystals or whipped cream on top. Prepare to be wowed!
