Cast a spell of flavor with our Phantom Marshmallow Witches recipe! Mix, mold, and decorate these spooky treats for a bewitching experience!
Take note
Beware of the enchanting aroma that will fill your kitchen when making these marshmallow witches. Your friends and family may be lured in by their irresistible charm and gobble them all up!
In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of mini marshmallows and 1 tablespoon of butter. Microwave the mixture for 30 seconds or until the marshmallows are melted, stirring halfway through.
Once the marshmallow mixture is melted, add 2 cups of rice cereal and stir until everything is well coated. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then grease your hands with a little butter and shape the mixture into small witch-shaped bodies. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Take a sugar ice cream cone and cut off the tip to create a flat surface. Dip the flat surface into melted chocolate and place it on top of each marshmallow witch body to create the hat. Hold it for a few seconds until the chocolate sets.
Using black decorating gel or melted chocolate, create eyes, a mouth, and a wart on each witch's face. You can get creative and add other spooky details like a crooked nose or a pointy chin!
Allow the marshmallow witches to set at room temperature for about 1 hour, or place them in the fridge for 30 minutes if you're in a hurry. Once they are firm, they are ready to bewitch your taste buds!
