Gather the following ingredients: 1 pound of beef sirloin, thinly sliced; 1 onion, thinly sliced; 2 cloves of garlic, minced; 8 ounces of sliced mushrooms; 1 cup of beef broth; 1 cup of sour cream; 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour; 2 tablespoons of butter; Salt and pepper to taste.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the beef slices and cook until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
Using the same skillet, add the onion, garlic, and mushrooms. Saute until they are soft and fragrant.
Sprinkle the flour into the skillet and stir well to combine. Slowly pour in the beef broth while stirring constantly. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it thicken.
Return the beef slices to the skillet and stir in the sour cream. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the beef is heated through and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Boil some egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain the noodles and serve the Beef Stroganoff on top. Enjoy!
