Think outside the bun with our bun-less 'Ramen Burger' recipe. A low-carb twist that still delivers on flavor and satisfaction.
Take note
Please be cautious while handling hot ingredients and sharp utensils.
Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Make sure to drain them well and rinse under cold water to stop them from cooking further. Then, transfer the noodles to a mixing bowl.
Add an egg, soy sauce, and any additional seasonings of your choice to the cooked ramen noodles. Mix everything thoroughly until the noodles are well coated with the egg and seasoning mixture.
Divide the ramen mixture into two equal portions. Using your hands, shape each portion into a round patty resembling a burger bun. Place the patties on a plate and refrigerate for about 20 minutes to firm up.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Carefully place the ramen 'buns' onto the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Once done, transfer them to a plate.
In the same skillet, cook your favorite burger patty until it reaches your desired level of doneness. You can season it with salt and pepper or any other desired seasonings. Once cooked, set it aside.
Now it's time to put it all together! Place your cooked burger patty on top of one ramen 'bun' and add your favorite toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, or any other burger fixings. Top it off with the second ramen 'bun'.
Take a moment to appreciate your culinary creation, and then take a big, satisfying bite into your unique and delicious ramen burger. Enjoy!
