Go beyond regular fries with our crispy bacon-wrapped avocado fries! Creamy avocado wrapped in bacon and baked to perfection for a tasty treat.
Take note
Be careful when handling the hot bacon-wrapped avocado fries. Let them cool slightly before devouring to avoid any tongue-related accidents!
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Preheating your oven will ensure that the bacon gets crispy while the avocado stays creamy.
Cut the avocados in half and carefully remove the pits. Slice each half into thick wedges. Make sure to use ripe avocados for maximum creaminess.
Take a slice of bacon and wrap it around each avocado wedge. Secure the bacon with a toothpick or two to prevent any unruly bacon accidents.
Place the bacon-wrapped avocado fries onto the prepared baking sheet. Pop them into the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the avocados are heated through.
Once baked to perfection, remove the toothpicks from the bacon-wrapped avocado fries. Sprinkle them with a pinch of salt and garnish with chopped fresh cilantro or a squeeze of lime juice. Serve immediately and enjoy!
