Ready for a delightful aroma? Bake your own grain-free granola in the oven! Follow our step-by-step instructions for a perfectly golden and fragrant result.
Take note
Be careful not to burn yourself while working with hot ingredients, and resist the temptation to eat all the granola straight from the oven!
Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine 2 cups (225g) of mixed nuts, 1 cup (100g) of unsweetened coconut flakes, 1/2 cup (60g) of pumpkin seeds, 1/4 cup (25g) of sesame seeds, 1/4 cup (30g) of flaxseeds, and 1/4 cup (30g) of chia seeds. Mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup (120ml) of melted coconut oil, 1/2 cup (120ml) of maple syrup, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and stir until everything is well coated.
Transfer the granola mixture to the prepared baking sheet and spread it out in an even layer.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the granola is golden brown and fragrant. Make sure to stir the mixture every 10 minutes to ensure even baking.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the granola to cool completely. Once cooled, transfer the granola to an airtight container for storage.
