Tickle your little ones' taste buds with nutritious and delicious homemade lollipops. This guide will show you how to make wholesome treats that are as fun to eat as they are good for you!
Take note
Adult supervision is required when working with hot liquids.
Get ready to make some tasty lollipops! You will need 1 cup of fruit juice (choose a natural and unsweetened one), 1/4 cup of honey (optional), and lollipop molds and sticks. You can find lollipop molds at most baking supply stores or online.
Pour the fruit juice into a small saucepan and add the honey if desired. Stir well to combine. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until it thickens slightly. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
Once the fruit juice mixture has thickened, remove it from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes. Carefully pour the mixture into the lollipop molds, filling them about halfway. Insert the lollipop sticks into the molds, making sure they are fully submerged in the liquid.
Allow the lollipops to cool completely at room temperature or, for faster results, place them in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Once they are completely cool and hardened, gently remove them from the molds. Your healthy homemade lollipops are now ready to be enjoyed!
