Take note
Be advised, these cookies may be too powerful for some mouths. Proceed with caution!
To make your Power Shield Cookies, you'll need: 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 cup of unsalted butter (softened), 1 and 1/2 cups of brown sugar, 2 large eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1/2 cup of chocolate chips, and 1/2 cup of chopped nuts.
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until well combined. Stir in the rolled oats, chocolate chips, and chopped nuts.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop spoonfuls of dough, about 1 and 1/2 tablespoons each, and drop onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for the cookies to spread. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once your Power Shield Cookies have cooled, take a bite and feel the superpowers flowing through your taste buds! These cookies are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth and providing an energy boost when you need it most.
