Mix all the ingredients

In a slow cooker, combine 1 cup of rice, 4 cups of whole milk, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir everything together until well mixed.

Cook on low heat

Cover the slow cooker with its lid and cook on low heat for 3-4 hours. Stir the mixture occasionally to prevent the rice from sticking to the bottom.

After 3-4 hours, sprinkle 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/2 cup of raisins into the slow cooker. Stir everything together and continue cooking for an additional 30 minutes.
