Impress your dinner guests with our recipe for savory parmesan forks. These flavorful utensils will add a cheesy touch to your meals!
Take note
Please use caution when handling hot cheese and keep an eye on your oven while the forks are baking.
First, gather the following ingredients: 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese, 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Take a metal fork and place it face down on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat this with as many forks as you'd like to make.
In a bowl, mix together the shredded parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture onto the back of each fork, forming a rough shape that resembles the tines of the fork. Press gently to compact the cheese.
Place the baking sheet with the fork molds in the preheated oven and bake for about 7-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and slightly golden. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a minute or two.
Gently lift each fork from the baking sheet and carefully peel the cheese away from the fork tines, allowing it to solidify into the shape of the fork. Repeat this process for all the forks.
Serve your savory parmesan forks alongside your favorite appetizers or main dishes. Your guests will love the cheesy touch and the novelty of edible utensils!
