Round up the following ingredients: 1 package of wonton wrappers, 1 pound of ground pork, 1 cup of chopped cabbage, 1/2 cup of finely chopped mushrooms, 2 cloves of garlic (minced), 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped cabbage, mushrooms, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Channel your inner karate master and mix everything together until well combined.
Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture onto each wonton wrapper. Dip your finger in water and lightly wet the edges of the wrapper. Fold the wrapper diagonally to form a triangle, then bring the two corners together and press to seal. Repeat with the remaining wonton wrappers and filling.
Fill a large pot with a couple of inches of water and bring it to a simmer. Line a bamboo steamer with parchment paper or cabbage leaves to prevent sticking. Place the wontons in a single layer in the steamer and cover with the lid. Steam for about 8 minutes, or until the wontons are cooked through and the filling is hot and juicy.
Carefully remove the steamed wontons from the bamboo steamer, place them on a platter, and garnish with a sprinkle of chopped green onions or cilantro. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or a side of adventure. Enjoy the whimsical flavors!
