1

Gather Your Materials

To personalize your Pollock Chocolate Bark, you'll need: a baking sheet, parchment paper, 8 ounces of dark or milk chocolate, assorted colors of food coloring, small paintbrushes (clean, new ones), and some creativity!

2

Melt the Chocolate

Break the chocolate into small pieces and melt it using a double boiler or microwave. If using a microwave, heat the chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.

3

Prepare the Splatter Colors

Divide the melted chocolate into separate bowls to create different colors. Add a few drops of food coloring to each bowl and mix well. Be playful and experiment with different color combinations!

4

Splatter Away!

Lay a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet. Dip a clean paintbrush into one of the colored chocolates and flick it over the parchment paper to create splatters. Repeat with the other colors, making sure to leave some space between splatters.

5

Set the Bark

Once you're happy with the splatters, carefully pour the remaining melted chocolate over the parchment paper, creating a thin, even layer. Gently tap the baking sheet on the counter to smooth out the chocolate and help the splatters settle.

6

Chill and Break

Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 1 hour, or until the chocolate hardens completely. Once chilled, you can break the Pollock Chocolate Bark into irregular pieces, just like a true masterpiece!
