Take note
Be prepared for some serious taste bud explosions! This recipe is not for the faint-hearted. Your mouth might water uncontrollably, and you might find yourself craving Spaghetti Burgers at all hours of the day. Proceed with caution!
In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Make sure to salt the water for extra flavor! Once cooked, drain and set aside to cool.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti with ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until well combined.
Take a handful of the spaghetti mixture and shape it into a patty using your hands. You should be able to make around 4-6 patties, depending on the size you prefer. Don't worry if they don't look perfect, we're going for a rustic look here!
Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook the spaghetti burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are nicely browned and cooked through.
Now comes the fun part! Grab your favorite burger buns and toast them lightly. Spread a generous amount of marinara sauce on the bottom bun, place a spaghetti burger patty on top, and add some shredded mozzarella cheese. Finally, add some fresh basil leaves and top it off with the other half of the bun.
