Watch out for brain freeze!
In a blender, combine 1 cup of mixed berries (such as blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries) with 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup. Blend until smooth.
Peel and slice a ripe banana, then freeze it for at least 2 hours. Once frozen, add the banana slices to the blender and blend until well combined with the berry mixture.
To make up for the lack of acai powder, we'll use 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt or coconut milk to give the Acai Bowl a creamy texture. Add it to the blender and blend until everything is nicely incorporated.
Pour the Acai Bowl mixture into a bowl and get creative with toppings. Some popular options include sliced bananas, granola, chopped nuts, coconut flakes, and a drizzle of honey. It's your chance to personalize it!
