Dive into a refreshing and fun jelly treat with our Fishbowl Gelatin recipe. A fruity and vibrant dessert that will have gummy fish swimming in your bowl! Let the edible aquarium adventure begin!
Take note
Caution: This fishbowl gelatin is so lifelike that your guests might mistake it for an actual fishbowl. Make sure to remind them that only the gummy fish are edible!
In a medium saucepan, combine 4 cups of water and your favorite flavored gelatin mix. Bring it to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
Remove the saucepan from heat and let the gelatin cool for 10 minutes. Then pour it into a clear glass bowl or fishbowl-shaped container, leaving some space at the top. Place it in the fridge and let it set for at least 2 hours or until firm.
Once the gelatin has set, gently place the gummy fish on top. You can arrange them however you like, creating your own underwater scene. Just be careful not to create any fish fights!
To create the illusion of seaweed in your fishbowl, mix a few drops of green food coloring with shredded coconut. Sprinkle this colorful concoction around the gummy fish to make it look like they're swimming through seaweed.
Grab a spoon, dive in, and enjoy your Fishbowl Gelatin! Make sure to remind everyone that this is a jelly treat, not an actual fishbowl!
