Indulge in a light and refreshing treat with our 'Gossamer Grape Gelato Wraps' recipe. These delicate wraps will have you floating on grape-flavored clouds.
Take note
Be careful not to tear the wraps when handling them, as they are quite delicate.
Scoop out your favorite grape gelato into a bowl. If you cannot find grape gelato, you can use grape sorbet or any other grape-flavored frozen treat. Allow the gelato to soften slightly at room temperature for easier spreading.
Lay a gossamer-thin crepe or a tortilla on a clean surface. Starting from one edge, spread a thin and even layer of the gelato onto the crepe. Leave a small border around the edges to prevent leaking when rolling.
Gently roll the crepe or tortilla into a tight wrap, ensuring that the gelato stays inside. Tuck in the sides as you roll to create a neat package. Repeat this step with the remaining crepes and gelato.
Place the gelato wraps on a tray lined with parchment paper. Pop them into the freezer for at least 2 hours or until firm. Once frozen, remove from the freezer and slice each wrap into bite-sized portions. Serve immediately and enjoy!
