In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix them together until well incorporated.
Add 1/2 cup of softened unsalted butter to the dry ingredients. Using a butterfly whisk (or an electric mixer), whisk everything together until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Beat 2 large eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Pour the egg mixture into the flour mixture and stir until the dough starts to come together.
Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Roll it out into a rectangular shape with a thickness of approximately 1/4 inch.
Spread a layer of raspberry jam (about 1/2 cup) evenly over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Starting from one of the longer sides, carefully roll the dough into a log shape. Gently pinch the ends to seal the roulade.
Place the roulade on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove the roulade from the oven and let it cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with a sprinkle of fairy tale enchantment!
