To make our irresistible chocolate fudge, you'll need: 2 cups of granulated sugar, ¾ cup of unsalted butter, ⅔ cup of evaporated milk, 12 ounces of high-quality chocolate chips, 1 jar of marshmallow creme (7 ounces), 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Make sure to have all the ingredients at hand before diving in!
Grab an 8x8 inch baking pan and line it with aluminum foil. Leave some overhang on the sides to easily lift out the fudge later. Give it a light spray with non-stick cooking spray or grease it with a tiny bit of butter. We don't want that delicious fudge sticking around!
In a heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, butter, and evaporated milk. Stir until the sugar has fully dissolved and the butter has melted. Be patient, my friend, this is where the magic begins!
