First things first, gather all your ingredients so you're ready to rock and roll. You'll need: cream cheese, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, graham cracker crumbs, unsalted butter, and a pinch of salt.
Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Meanwhile, let's get your pan ready. Coat the inside of a 9-inch springform pan with butter or cooking spray, then sprinkle graham cracker crumbs all over, ensuring they stick to the sides and bottom.
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add in the sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and pinch of salt. Mix everything together until it's well-combined and velvety. Be careful not to overmix!
In a separate bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the crumbs into the bottom of the prepared pan to create a firm crust.
Place the pan in the preheated oven and let the cheesecake bake for about 55-60 minutes until the edges are set but the center still jiggles slightly when gently shaken. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for an additional 1 hour to cool gradually.
Once the cheesecake has cooled for an hour in the oven, transfer it to a cooling rack and let it cool completely. Once it's cooled, cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight. It'll be worth the wait, we promise!
