Crush 24 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a ziplock bag and smashing them with a rolling pin. Combine the cookie crumbs with 1/4 cup melted butter and mix well. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). In a large mixing bowl, beat 3 packages (8 ounces each) of softened cream cheese, 1 cup granulated sugar, and the zest of one orange until smooth and fluffy. Gradually add 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice, 1/4 cup heavy cream, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated.
