1

Prepare the Cupcake Batter

In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Mix well to ensure all dry ingredients are evenly incorporated.

2

Add Wet Ingredients and Mix

Next, add 1/2 cup of softened unsalted butter, 1 cup of milk, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, and 3 large eggs to the dry ingredients. Use an electric mixer on low speed to blend everything together until the batter is smooth and creamy.

3

Divide and Color the Batter

Divide the cupcake batter equally into 4 different bowls. Add a few drops of different food coloring to each bowl and mix well until you achieve vibrant colors. Feel free to get creative with the colors!

4

Layer the Batter in Cupcake Liners

Line a cupcake tray with paper liners. Starting with one color, spoon a small amount of batter into the bottom of each liner. Repeat this process with different colors, layering them one on top of the other until the liners are about 2/3 full.

5

Bake the Cupcakes

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the cupcake tray in the oven and bake for approximately 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean. Once baked, remove the tray from the oven and let the cupcakes cool completely.

6

Decorate with Edible Glitter

Using a small brush or your fingertips, gently apply edible glitter to the top of each cupcake. Feel free to get as sparkly as you desire! Just remember to go easy on glitter consumption.
