Take note
Make sure to use caution when working with hot liquid and steam. Also, be prepared for your friends constantly asking you to make them fancy coffees!
Pour the desired amount of milk into a stainless steel pitcher. For a single cup of coffee, around 8 ounces of milk should be sufficient.
Insert the steam wand into the pitcher, making sure the tip is just below the surface of the milk. Turn on the steam and position the pitcher at a slight angle. As the milk heats up, lift the pitcher to create a whirlpool effect.
Continue steaming the milk until it reaches a temperature of around 150°F (65°C). At this point, lower the pitcher slightly to create a bubbly texture. Keep steaming until the milk is at your desired thickness and texture.
Hold a spoon to block the foam and pour the milk into your favorite cup of coffee. Start with a slow pour near the edge of the cup, then gradually move towards the center to create a design.
Now comes the fun part! Use a toothpick, skewer, or even a latte art pen to create patterns on the foam. Draw hearts, leaves, or even your favorite animal. The possibilities are endless!
Before you dive into your beautifully designed coffee, make sure to snap a photo to share on social media. Trust us, your friends will be seriously impressed!
