First things first, gather all your ingredients. You will need 200g of dark chocolate, 100g of white chocolate, 150ml of heavy cream, 1/4 teaspoon of peppermint extract, and a pinch of turquoise food coloring.
Break the dark chocolate into small pieces and place them in a heatproof bowl. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it starts to simmer. Pour the hot cream over the dark chocolate and whisk until smooth. Add the peppermint extract and a pinch of turquoise food coloring, then mix well.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the mixture is firm enough to handle.
Using a teaspoon or a small cookie scoop, scoop out small portions of the chocolate mixture and roll them into balls with your hands. Place the truffle balls on a lined baking sheet.
Melt the white chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Dip each truffle ball into the melted white chocolate, making sure to coat it completely. Place the coated truffles back on the baking sheet.
If you're feeling extra fancy, sprinkle some edible silver glitter or crushed candy canes over the still-wet white chocolate coating. Let the truffles cool completely before serving or storing.
