Take note
Handle with care when unmolding the Panna Cotta to avoid any mishaps.
To impress your guests with this festive Panna Cotta, you'll need 2 cups of heavy cream, 1 cup of whole milk, 1/2 cup of sugar, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, and 2 packets of gelatin.
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar. Heat until the mixture is steaming but not boiling, stirring occasionally.
While the cream and milk mixture is heating, sprinkle the gelatin over 1/4 cup of cold water in a small bowl. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.
Once the cream and milk mixture is steaming, remove it from the heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until completely dissolved. Strain the mixture to ensure a smooth texture.
Stir in the vanilla extract to add a delicious hint of flavor to your Panna Cotta.
Evenly pour the Panna Cotta mixture into individual serving dishes or ramekins. Let them cool to room temperature before transferring to the refrigerator.
Cover each serving dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the Panna Cotta has set and is firm to the touch.
To unmold the Panna Cotta, carefully run a knife along the edges of each dish. Place a serving plate on top and gently flip it over to release the Panna Cotta. Serve it with your favorite festive garnishes.
