Take note
Keep in mind that this recipe requires some chill time for the Panna Cotta to set. Also, be cautious when handling hot liquids to avoid burns.
Select your preferred fruit for this Panna Cotta twist. Whether it's vibrant strawberries, juicy mangoes, or tangy raspberries, the choice is yours! Wash and prepare the fruit by removing any stems, pits, or seeds, if needed.
Place the prepared fruit in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. If desired, you can strain the puree to remove any fibrous bits, but we love the added texture they provide!
In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, heat the cream, sugar, and a pinch of salt over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
Remove the cream mixture from heat and add the bloomed gelatin. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Then, pour in the fruit puree and whisk until well combined.
Divide the mixture among your desired serving molds or glasses. You can use cute little ramekins, fancy dessert glasses, or even silicone molds for fun shapes! Chill the Panna Cotta in the refrigerator to set for at least 4 hours or overnight.
To unmold the Panna Cotta, carefully run a knife around the edges of each mold. Place a serving plate on top and invert. Gently tap the mold until the Panna Cotta releases onto the plate. Garnish with fresh fruit, mint leaves, or a drizzle of fruit syrup. Now, it's time to indulge in this fruity delight!
