Swim into the limelight with our Fishbowl Gelatin recipe that doubles as a stunning party centerpiece. Gummy fish swimming in a transparent bowl filled with colorful gelatin will wow your guests. Get ready to impress!
Take note
Please be cautious when handling hot liquid and sharp objects.
In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 packets of unflavored gelatin with 4 cups of boiling water. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
Allow the gelatin mixture to cool slightly, then carefully pour it into a clean and transparent fishbowl, filling it about 2/3 of the way to leave space for the fish. Place the bowl in the fridge to set for about 1 hour.
Once the gelatin has partially set, gently place gummy fish into the bowl, arranging them in a way that looks like they are swimming. Make sure to push them down slightly to anchor them in the gelatin.
Put the fishbowl back in the fridge and allow the gelatin to fully set for another 2-3 hours or overnight. This will ensure that it holds together and maintains its shape.
Once the gelatin is fully set, your Fishbowl Gelatin party centerpiece is ready to impress! Place the bowl in the center of your party table and watch as your guests marvel at the underwater scene. Enjoy the colorful and delicious treat!
