Start by squeezing the juice from your chosen citrus fruits. You'll need about 1 cup of freshly squeezed juice. Strain the juice to remove any pulp or seeds, ensuring a smooth and velvety foam.
In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup of water and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Heat the mixture over low heat until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
