Take note
Remember to be careful when handling knives and hot objects. Also, try not to eat all the crostini yourself!
Gather all your ingredients: 8 slices of baguette, 8 ounces of brie cheese, 1/2 cup of fig jam, and fresh thyme for garnish.
Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast them in a preheated oven at 375°F for about 5 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy.
Take the toasted baguette slices out of the oven and let them cool slightly. Then, spread a generous amount of fig jam on each slice.
Cut the brie into thin slices and place a slice on top of each baguette slice with fig jam.
Turn on the broiler in your oven and place the topped baguette slices back in. Broil for about 2-3 minutes, or until the brie is bubbly and slightly golden.
Take the crostini out of the oven and garnish with fresh thyme. Serve them warm and enjoy the delicious combination of flavors!
