Take your Mummy Hot Dogs to the next level with our fun twist! Turn them into adorable mummies that are too cute to eat (almost).
Take note
Remember to use caution when handling hot items and be careful with sharp objects.
Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Take a hot dog and cut it in half. Grab a crescent roll and wrap it around the hot dog halves, leaving a gap towards the top for the "mummy's face." Repeat with all the hot dogs.
Take a small portion of another crescent roll and stretch it out into thin strips. Carefully wrap the strips around the hot dog in a crisscross pattern, creating the mummy's bandages. Leave a small opening for the face to peek through.
Place the mummy hot dogs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush each mummy with an egg wash to give them a golden glow. Pop them in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the mummy hot dogs from the oven and let them cool slightly. Using dots of mustard or ketchup, add two eyes to each mummy. You can also get creative and use small pieces of olives or pickles for the eyes!
Arrange your adorable mummy hot dogs on a platter and serve them up at your next Halloween party or spooky movie night. They're deliciously eerie and frightfully fun!
