Infuse your Tomahawk Steak with incredible flavors by mastering the art of marination. Get ready for a taste sensation!
Take note
While marinating is a fantastic way to infuse flavor into your Tomahawk Steak, be sure to not over-marinate as it can result in a mushy texture. Also, make sure to properly handle and store raw meat to prevent any risk of foodborne illnesses.
In a bowl, combine 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of paprika, and a pinch of black pepper. Mix everything together until the sugar is dissolved.
Place the Tomahawk Steak in a large ziplock bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag tightly, making sure to remove as much air as possible. Massage the steak gently to ensure it's coated evenly. Place the bag in the refrigerator and let it marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight for maximum flavor.
Heat your grill to medium-high heat. Make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.
Remove the steak from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off. Discard the remaining marinade. Place the Tomahawk Steak on the preheated grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the desired level of doneness is reached. For a perfectly medium-rare steak, aim for an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C).
Once cooked to perfection, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for about 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak. Slice the steak against the grain and serve it up with your favorite side dishes. Enjoy!
