Gather all the necessary ingredients for your Crab Bisque. You'll need 1 pound of fresh crab meat, 2 tablespoons of butter, 1 onion (diced), 2 cloves of garlic (minced), 1 carrot (diced), 1 celery stalk (diced), 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, 4 cups of chicken broth, 1 cup of heavy cream, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of paprika, salt and pepper to taste, and chopped parsley for garnish.

Using an immersion blender or a regular blender, carefully blend the bisque until smooth and creamy. Be cautious when blending hot liquids! Return the bisque to the pot and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring continuously. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasonings according to your preference.
