Delve into the depths of chocolatey bliss with our 'Deep-Sea Dulce de Leche brownies' recipe! A rich and fudgy dessert that will make you dive for seconds.
Take note
1. Be careful when working with hot caramel sauce, it can cause burns if accidentally spilled.
2. Make sure to allow the brownies to cool before cutting, as they will be very hot when they come out of the oven.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a square baking pan. In a heatproof bowl, melt the butter and chocolate together over a pot of simmering water. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, whisking continuously. Stir in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until well combined.
Pour half of the brownie batter into the greased pan. Drizzle dulce de leche evenly over the batter. Use a butter knife or toothpick to swirl the dulce de leche into the batter. Pour the remaining batter on top and repeat the swirling process.
Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Don't overbake, as you want the brownies to be fudgy and moist!
Remove the pan from the oven and let the brownies cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, carefully remove the brownies from the pan, cut into squares, and enjoy!
