Start your day with a twist on classic breakfast. Our recipe for egg-topped pizza is a delicious combination of eggs, bacon, and cheese on a crispy crust.

Start by making or buying your favorite pizza dough. If making from scratch, gather the ingredients: flour, yeast, water, oil, salt, and a pinch of sugar. Mix everything together, knead the dough until smooth, cover it, and let it rise for about an hour.
While the dough is rising, cook crispy bacon in a skillet over medium heat. Once done, transfer the cooked bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease. Chop the bacon into small pieces.
Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) or follow the instructions on your store-bought dough package.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness. You can make one large pizza or divide the dough to create individual-sized pizzas.
Place the rolled-out dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread your favorite pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle shredded cheese and the chopped bacon evenly over the sauce.
Carefully crack one egg at a time into a small bowl, taking care to avoid any shell pieces. Gently slide each egg onto the pizza, spacing them evenly apart.
Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the eggs are cooked to your desired doneness. Keep an eye on it to avoid overcooking!
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Slice it up, and dig into the melty, egg-topped deliciousness!
