Elevate your bread game with our cheesy garlic pull-apart bread recipe! This gooey delight will have everyone reaching for more.
Take note
Be careful not to burn yourself when pulling apart the bread as it will be hot and ooey-gooey.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Take a loaf of crusty bread, like a French baguette or a sourdough loaf, and slice it diagonally at 1-inch intervals, but make sure to not slice all the way through. We want the loaf to stay intact.
In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup (113g) of softened butter, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley, and a pinch of salt. Mix everything together until well combined. For an extra kick, you can also add some red pepper flakes.
Using a butter knife or a small spatula, generously spread the cheesy garlic butter mixture between the slices of the bread, making sure to get the butter into all the nooks and crannies. Don't be shy with the butter; the more, the merrier!
Now it's time to make our bread extra cheesy. Take your favorite cheese, like mozzarella, cheddar, or even a mix of cheeses. Cut it into thin slices and insert them into the bread slices. Get creative and layer different kinds of cheese if you'd like.
Wrap the loaf of bread tightly in aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for about 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and gooey. Then, unwrap the foil and let it bake for an additional 5 minutes to get that irresistible golden crust on top.
Once out of the oven, be patient for a minute or two as it will be scorching hot. Then, get ready to dig in! Gently pull apart the slices of bread, revealing the ooey-gooey cheesy goodness. Serve it warm and watch it disappear within seconds.
