Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
Wash and chop a medium-sized cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
In a small bowl, mix together ½ cup (120ml) of your favorite vegan barbecue sauce with 2 tablespoons of tomato paste.
In a large mixing bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with the BBQ sauce mixture until well coated.
Spread the coated cauliflower evenly on a lined baking sheet or pizza stone. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is crispy and golden.
While the cauliflower is baking, prepare your favorite vegan pizza crust according to the package instructions or use a store-bought one.
Once the cauliflower is done, remove it from the oven. Spread a generous amount of vegan cheese or cheese alternative onto the pizza crust. Top with the crispy BBQ cauliflower.
Place the assembled pizza back in the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the crust is golden brown.
