Swing into the kitchen and create a superhero-inspired meal! Our Spiderman Spaghetti with Olive Spiders is a fun and delicious way to save the day!
Take note
Be careful not to get too tangled up in the spaghetti webs. And watch out for those Olive Spiders, they may try to crawl away!
Fill a large pot with water, add some salt, and bring it to a boil. Then, carefully add the spaghetti and cook it according to the package instructions until it's al dente.
While the spaghetti is cooking, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Then, add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Take a handful of black olives and carefully cut a small slit halfway through each olive, lengthwise. Slide a toothpick through the slit, making sure it goes all the way through. Repeat with more olives until you have enough Olive Spiders to go around.
Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain it and toss it with the Spiderman sauce. Transfer the saucy spaghetti to serving plates or bowls. Now, place the Olive Spiders on top of the spaghetti, arranging them strategically like they're crawling around. And there you have it, Spiderman Spaghetti with Olive Spiders!
